Woopra 4 iPhone: Woopra statistics look comfortable on the iPhone
Meanwhile, I could not resist the temptation also zuzulegen me an iPhone and did a fairly cheap on Ebay Italy bargains.
Now that I'm probably the last blogger who has such a device ...
What I miss on my iPhone but now for the perfect happiness, the Woopra statistics (Please note: Registration for beta phase soon no longer possible). Meanwhile I am on site statistics and analysis Woopra really close to my heart, because we can observe, in real time, visitors and analyze the impact of news services, as well as Yigg & Co. easily observed.
To retrieve the statistics, there are indeed either the Woopra client or the WordPress plugin. But I'm over the iPhone in the slow WordPress backend log and look at where the huge side, then I am too stupid.
First I wanted to write a proper iPhone application until I have found frustrating that can be realized only with a Mac. Thus, an Apple fan, I'm not ... but then again
I have, therefore, the WordPress plug-times closer look and found that it's easy to convert to a standalone application that can easily load in the Safari browser. And here it is: Woopra 4 iPhone:
Basically I have the original functionality of the Woopra plugin's just calmly and just changed the entry page, a configuration page and a few layout things in the future, so it should be easy to reuse future plugin versions. The view can be easily changed through the woopra.css file, currently I have quite simply left.
Woopra 4 has iPhone only in a web directory to be unpacked, then adding his Woopra data (web site, API ID and site ID from the Members area) in the config.php and the iPhone / iPod View - finished.
Update: The site ID is no longer necessary, the package has been revised accordingly:

"If you have problems try the following:
- Specify in config.php "sitename" without "www."
- Some servers are protected by the PHP allow_url_fopen Flag ". But this must be switched (php.ini: allow_url_fopen = on)
When one puts a bookmark on the iPhone home screen, you get a nice icon appears ...
All queries that are also in WordPress, I've put in a combo box can also be selected several periods.
Gladly you can further develop the tool to embellish or whatever. If you find the tool useful, or it evolved, and for interest's sake let me know please leave a comment or trackback.
Have fun ...

I have Ensured that the "allow_url_fopen" parameter is enabled and set to one, my host runs PHP 5, are there any known issues with this?
Irrespective, I still get the following error:
Your hosting provider is not Allowing the application to fetch data from the Woopra server.
You have to switch the PHP flag 'allow_url_fopen' ON! (php.ini)
My PHP information can be found by going to http://agt.id.au/phpinfo.php, you can test it by going to http://www.agt.id.au/iphone/
Can anyone offer any clues as to why this error still happens?
it seems, that there is not the PHP flag responsible for the error, because there is an answer: "Your query returned 0 results.".
I think there's an error in the config-file: try to insert your domain without "www."

Click here to retry again! "
With the www. it does not work, but when removed it gives me this error.
We have to wait, what Woopra says ...

1. with the www. in config it says that allow_url_fopen is not ON, although it is, according to phpinfo
2. without the www. in config, just the domain, it says: Your query returned 0 results.
Any idea, please?
Thanks,
Adrian
