CubeCheater: Zauberwürfel lösen mit dem iPhone

Das ist ja mal ne richtig coole iPhone-Anwendung: “CubeCheater“. Das Programm hilft beim lösen eines Zauberwürfels.

Man macht einfach mit dem iPhone ein Foto von jeder Seite des Würfels, CubeCheater erkennt dann die Farben und die Kombination und schlägt die schnellste Lösung zum Nachmachen vor. Es ist auch eine direkte Eingabe der Farben möglich.

CubeCheater uses the famed Kociemba algorithm to find a solution quickly. It finds optimal or near-optimal cube solutions in only a few seconds. Even a really mixed-up cube will only take about 20 turns to solve, compared to hundreds of turns for a typical human algorithm.

Ich habe zwar keinen Zauberwürfel, aber ich muss mir ernsthaft überlegen, ob ich mir nur mal zum Programm ausprobieren einen kaufe…

Interesting application on iPhone. Sure it will help to solve that complicated cube puzzle. But I think it won’t be as fun as solving it by yourself. :D

Btw, I just realized that I can translate the text in your website to English.

that’s right – but the interesting for me are the possibilities today: make a picture and a telephone solves the problem… imagine this back in the 1980’s…

the translation tool is very cool, also it raises your visitors from all over the world, but the qualitiy of translation is so far not the best…
